About these terms

These terms apply to every order placed through kittykorners.com. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them before you buy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Who we are

Kitty Korners is a UK-based retailer of smart pet feeding equipment. You can reach us at hello@kittykorners.com and we aim to reply within one business day.

Orders

When you place an order you will receive an automatic confirmation email. That email confirms we have received your order, not that we have accepted it. A contract between us is formed only when we dispatch your item and send you a dispatch confirmation.

We may decline or cancel an order if the item is unavailable, if we identify a pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.

Pricing

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery is free on UK orders. We try hard to keep pricing accurate, but if we discover a genuine error in the price of something you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.

Product information

We describe our products as accurately as we can, including specifications supplied by our manufacturing partner. Product photography is intended to represent the item faithfully, though colours can vary slightly between screens. If anything you receive does not match its description, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and our return and refund policy.

Connected features

Our feeders connect to your home Wi-Fi and are controlled by a third-party mobile app. Camera streaming, notifications and remote feeding depend on your internet connection, your router and the app provider's servers, none of which are under our control. The scheduled feeding function works offline and does not require an internet connection. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app-based features.

Suitable use

Our feeders are intended for dry pet food in ordinary household use. They are not a substitute for supervision. If your pet has a medical condition, is on a restricted diet, or is prone to eating too quickly, please speak to your vet before relying on an automatic feeder. We recommend you test the feeder for several days while you are at home before depending on it while you are away.

Delivery and returns

Delivery timescales, costs and your cancellation rights are set out in our shipping policy and our return and refund policy. Those policies form part of these terms.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your account and content

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You must give us accurate delivery and contact information. If you submit a product review or other content to us, you confirm it is your own honest opinion and you grant us permission to publish it.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this site at the moment you place it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
