Most people own a scoop and a box of bags and a bin, kept in three places. This puts the scoop, the bags and the dirty end of the job into a single unit that stands upright next to the tray.
Everything in one place
The base holds a roll of bags inside it and the scoop docks into the top. Pull a bag, scoop, tie, done, without walking to a cupboard or leaving a used scoop lying on the floor.
Because the scoop stores head-down inside its own holder, the dirty face is not sitting against your floor or the side of the tray between uses.
A wide head and a proper baffle
The scoop face is large enough to lift a full clump in one pass rather than three, and the slots are spaced for clumping litter: fine enough to hold the clump, wide enough to let clean granules fall straight back.
The baffle at the back stops the load sliding off as you lift and turn, which is where most of the mess in this job actually happens.
It comes apart to wash
Scoop, holder and base separate completely, so you can rinse the parts that get dirty instead of wiping around a moulded unit. Polypropylene takes hot water and does not stain or hold odour the way a cheap scoop does.
Bag refills are available, and it takes ordinary small bags if you would rather use your own.
