A rechargeable nail grinder that files a cat's claws down instead of cutting them, so there is no quick to hit and no blood.
Most people stop clipping their cat's nails after the first time they catch the quick. Grinding removes that risk entirely: it takes the tip off gradually, a fraction at a time, and you can stop the moment your cat objects.
You cannot cut too far
Clippers take a chunk in one movement, and on a dark claw you cannot see where the blood vessel ends. That single mistake is what makes a cat fight the clippers for the rest of its life.
A grinder removes material slowly enough that you see the change as it happens and stop early. Nothing snaps, nothing pinches, and there is no sudden pressure on the toe that makes a cat pull away.
It leaves the claw smooth
Clipped claws come away with a sharp edge and often a split, which is what catches on jumpers, curtains and your legs. A ground claw is rounded, so the snagging mostly stops.
The protective port keeps the grinding wheel covered and limits how much of the claw goes in at once, which stops an over-enthusiastic pass.
Cordless, quiet and small enough to hold in one hand
It runs from a 300mAh internal battery over USB, so there is no cable to fight while you are also holding a paw. At 180 grams and 21.5cm it sits in one hand while the other holds the foot.

Worth knowing before you buy
- It makes a noise and it vibrates, and that is what most cats object to, not the grinding. Run it near them switched on for a few days before it ever touches a paw.
- Go one or two claws per session at first. Trying to do all eighteen on day one is how you end up with a cat that hides when it appears.
- Grinding is slower than clipping. On a cat that already tolerates clippers, clippers are quicker.
- The grinding wheel is a wearing part and will dull with use.
- Do not grind a claw that is already split, or a paw that looks sore. That needs a vet, not a grooming tool.

Pair with the app
Install the Pet Zero app, turn on your phone's Bluetooth and it finds the feeder by itself. It works on either 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi.

How long will delivery take?

What food does it take?
Dry kibble only, 3 to 15mm, including freeze-dried and air-dried food. Wet, raw and fresh food don't keep safely in a hopper, so the feeder doesn't support them.
What happens if my Wi-Fi drops?
Your cat still gets fed. The feeding schedule is stored on the feeder itself rather than in the cloud, so meals keep dispensing on time. What pauses is the remote side of it: the live camera, notifications and feeding by hand from your phone. All of it returns on its own once the network is back, with nothing to re-pair.
Is it safe to leave for a week?
Yes, and capacity is the easy part: six litres is roughly two to three weeks of food for one cat. Two honest caveats. Run it for a few days while you are at home first, so you know your cat takes to it. And for longer trips still have someone able to look in, because a feeder handles meals and lets you watch, but it cannot refill a water bowl or spot a cat that has stopped eating.
What happens in a power cut?
Four AA batteries take over and scheduled meals keep dispensing. The feeder sleeps between meals on battery, so the camera and app pause until mains power returns, but your cat still gets fed on time. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended, as they can make the feeder report its charge level inaccurately.
What Wi-Fi does it need?
Either band. It connects to 2.4GHz or 5GHz, so it will work with whatever your router broadcasts.
Can it feed two cats?
One feeder portions one bowl reliably. For multi-cat homes we recommend one feeder per cat, because cats who share a bowl rarely share it fairly.
Is there a subscription for the camera?
No. Live video and two-way audio work through the Pet Zero app with no monthly fee. There is no SD card slot and no cloud plan — you watch live and can save a snapshot or clip to your phone.
