A cordless stainless steel water fountain that senses your cat approaching, runs only when it is needed, and goes about two months between charges.
Most fountains are plastic and most of them tether you to the nearest socket. This one has a brushed steel bowl, a battery in the base and a proximity sensor, so you can put it where your cat actually drinks rather than where the plug happens to be.
Cats drink more from water that moves
Cats evolved to avoid still water, and plenty of them simply do not drink enough from a bowl. A circulating fountain gives them oxygenated water that tastes fresher, and most owners notice their cat visiting it far more often than the bowl it replaced.
That matters more than it sounds. Low water intake is one of the everyday contributors to urinary and kidney trouble in indoor cats, and drinking more is the simplest thing you can change.
It runs when your cat is there, not all day
An induction sensor starts the pump when your cat comes near and stops it when they leave. That is what makes a cordless fountain practical: instead of a motor running twenty-four hours a day, it runs for the few minutes a day your cat is actually drinking, which is how the battery stretches to around two months per charge.
No cable means nothing trailing across a hallway and nothing for a cat to chew. Charge it over USB, then put it in a quiet corner, a bedroom, or the spot on the landing your cat has decided is theirs.
Steel where the water sits, and a filter that does real work
The bowl is stainless steel rather than plastic, so it does not scratch into a surface that holds bacteria, and it does not pick up the plastic taste that puts some cats off. The gooseneck spout pours a visible stream into the bowl, which is usually what draws a cat over in the first place.
Water passes through a four-stage cartridge: cotton for hair and grit, ion resin to soften, activated carbon for taste and odour, and bio-ceramic. A lit window on the side shows the level at a glance, so you can see it needs filling without lifting anything.

Worth knowing before you buy
- The 60 day figure assumes induction mode with normal household use. A busy multi-cat home triggers the pump far more often and will need charging sooner.
- Filters are a consumable. Plan on replacing the cartridge every two to four weeks, sooner in a hard water area.
- The bowl washes, but the base holds the pump and battery and must not be immersed. Wipe it with a damp cloth.
- Quiet is not silent. You will hear a soft trickle while the pump runs, which is usually the point, as the sound is what draws the cat over.
- Because the pump is sensor-triggered, the water is still between visits rather than circulating constantly.
- Some cats switch to a fountain in an hour and some take a week. Leave their old bowl out alongside it for the first few days rather than removing it straight away.

Fill and plug in
Lift the lid, pour in up to 6 litres of dry food, drop the desiccant pack into the drying box and connect the adapter. Add 4 AA batteries for power-cut backup.
Pair with the app
Install the Pet Zero app, turn on your phone's Bluetooth and it finds the feeder by itself. It works on either 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi.
Set the schedule
Choose your feeding times and the portion size for each. Run it for a few days while you are home before relying on it while away.

How long will delivery take?

What food does it take?
Dry kibble only, 3 to 15mm, including freeze-dried and air-dried food. Wet, raw and fresh food don't keep safely in a hopper, so the feeder doesn't support them.
What happens if my Wi-Fi drops?
Your cat still gets fed. The feeding schedule is stored on the feeder itself rather than in the cloud, so meals keep dispensing on time. What pauses is the remote side of it: the live camera, notifications and feeding by hand from your phone. All of it returns on its own once the network is back, with nothing to re-pair.
Is it safe to leave for a week?
Yes, and capacity is the easy part: six litres is roughly two to three weeks of food for one cat. Two honest caveats. Run it for a few days while you are at home first, so you know your cat takes to it. And for longer trips still have someone able to look in, because a feeder handles meals and lets you watch, but it cannot refill a water bowl or spot a cat that has stopped eating.
What happens in a power cut?
Four AA batteries take over and scheduled meals keep dispensing. The feeder sleeps between meals on battery, so the camera and app pause until mains power returns, but your cat still gets fed on time. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended, as they can make the feeder report its charge level inaccurately.
What Wi-Fi does it need?
Either band. It connects to 2.4GHz or 5GHz, so it will work with whatever your router broadcasts.
Can it feed two cats?
One feeder portions one bowl reliably. For multi-cat homes we recommend one feeder per cat, because cats who share a bowl rarely share it fairly.
Is there a subscription for the camera?
No. Live video and two-way audio work through the Pet Zero app with no monthly fee. There is no SD card slot and no cloud plan — you watch live and can save a snapshot or clip to your phone.
