Full specification
A silicone litter mat with a trapping grid, sized from a small tray up to 84 by 64cm, that pours its catch straight back into the bin.
Fabric and foam mats absorb what they catch, which is why they start to smell within a month. Silicone holds nothing, wipes clean, and folds in half to tip a week of litter out in one movement.
The grid does the work
Cats carry litter out on their paws, and a flat mat just moves the problem a foot further from the tray. The open grid lets grains drop through and sit in the recess underneath, so they come off the paw and stay off the floor rather than getting kicked across the room.
The double-layer sizes take that further with a sealed lower tray, which holds noticeably more before it needs emptying.
It empties in one movement
Pick it up, fold it down the middle, and pour. That is the whole job. Because silicone is flexible but does not crease permanently, it goes back flat afterwards rather than staying bent.
The raised lip round the edge keeps the collected litter on the mat while you carry it to the bin, which is the step most mats get wrong.
Waterproof underneath, so the floor stays dry
The solid base is waterproof, so a missed aim or a tipped tray does not reach the floorboards. It rinses under a tap and dries in minutes, and it does not fray, shed or absorb odour the way a woven mat does.
The textured underside grips hard floors so the mat stays put when a cat launches off it.

Worth knowing before you buy
- Measure before ordering. The mat should be wider than your tray and give the cat two or three steps on it. The 45 x 30cm is genuinely small and suits a kitten tray only.
- No mat catches everything. This cuts tracking substantially; it does not eliminate it, especially with fine-grain clumping litter.
- Silicone is firm underfoot. Some cats dislike the texture at first and will step round it for a few days.
- It is not machine washable and should not be tumble dried. Rinse it and let it air dry.
- On carpet the non-slip base has nothing to grip, so it will shift. This is designed for hard floors.

Fill and plug in
Lift the lid, pour in up to 6 litres of dry food, drop the desiccant pack into the drying box and connect the adapter. Add 4 AA batteries for power-cut backup.
Pair with the app
Install the Pet Zero app, turn on your phone's Bluetooth and it finds the feeder by itself. It works on either 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi.
Set the schedule

How long will delivery take?

What food does it take?
Dry kibble only, 3 to 15mm, including freeze-dried and air-dried food. Wet, raw and fresh food don't keep safely in a hopper, so the feeder doesn't support them.
What happens if my Wi-Fi drops?
Your cat still gets fed. The feeding schedule is stored on the feeder itself rather than in the cloud, so meals keep dispensing on time. What pauses is the remote side of it: the live camera, notifications and feeding by hand from your phone. All of it returns on its own once the network is back, with nothing to re-pair.
Is it safe to leave for a week?
Yes, and capacity is the easy part: six litres is roughly two to three weeks of food for one cat. Two honest caveats. Run it for a few days while you are at home first, so you know your cat takes to it. And for longer trips still have someone able to look in, because a feeder handles meals and lets you watch, but it cannot refill a water bowl or spot a cat that has stopped eating.
What happens in a power cut?
Four AA batteries take over and scheduled meals keep dispensing. The feeder sleeps between meals on battery, so the camera and app pause until mains power returns, but your cat still gets fed on time. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended, as they can make the feeder report its charge level inaccurately.
What Wi-Fi does it need?
Either band. It connects to 2.4GHz or 5GHz, so it will work with whatever your router broadcasts.
Can it feed two cats?
One feeder portions one bowl reliably. For multi-cat homes we recommend one feeder per cat, because cats who share a bowl rarely share it fairly.
Is there a subscription for the camera?
No. Live video and two-way audio work through the Pet Zero app with no monthly fee. There is no SD card slot and no cloud plan — you watch live and can save a snapshot or clip to your phone.
