A hard-shell cat backpack with a clear dome, so your cat can see out and you have both hands free.
Most carriers are a soft bag your cat cannot see out of, which is exactly why they hate them. A rigid shell holds its shape under a nervous cat, and the bubble window turns the trip from something being done to them into something they can watch.
The vet trip stops being a fight
Cats panic in carriers largely because they are blind inside one, jolting around with no idea what is happening. A transparent dome gives them a fixed view out, which settles most cats considerably, and a rigid shell stops the sides pressing in on them when you walk.
Carrying it on your back rather than swinging from one hand also removes most of the motion they hate, and leaves your hands free for a door, a lead, or a train ticket.
Built to hold its shape
The shell is hard-structured, so a cat leaning on one side does not collapse it, and it stands up on the floor by itself while your cat walks in. That matters at the vet, where a soft bag on a hard bench is the thing cats scramble out of.
Breathable mesh panels run down the sides so air moves through the whole shell rather than only at the dome, and the zips close securely with no gap for a determined paw.
Padded where it sits on you
Dual shoulder straps are padded and adjustable, which is the difference between carrying five kilos comfortably and carrying it for ten minutes. The load sits centred on your back rather than pulling on one shoulder.

Worth knowing before you buy
- This suits cats up to roughly 5 to 6kg. A large or long-bodied cat will not have room to turn round, and should travel in a bigger carrier.
- It is for short journeys: a vet visit, a car transfer, a walk. It is not somewhere a cat should spend hours.
- The dome can mist up in cold or humid weather. Keep the mesh panels clear rather than covering them.
- We do not claim airline approval. Cabin rules vary by carrier and most airlines require a soft carrier with specific dimensions, so check with your airline before booking.
- Almost no cat likes a backpack on the first attempt. Leave it open on the floor at home for a week with a treat inside before you try to travel in it.
- Some cats simply will not tolerate a backpack, and a traditional side-opening carrier is the better answer for them.

Fill and plug in
Lift the lid, pour in up to 6 litres of dry food, drop the desiccant pack into the drying box and connect the adapter. Add 4 AA batteries for power-cut backup.
Pair with the app
Install the Pet Zero app, turn on your phone's Bluetooth and it finds the feeder by itself. It works on either 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi.
Set the schedule
Choose your feeding times and the portion size for each. Run it for a few days while you are home before relying on it while away.

How long will delivery take?

What food does it take?
Dry kibble only, 3 to 15mm, including freeze-dried and air-dried food. Wet, raw and fresh food don't keep safely in a hopper, so the feeder doesn't support them.
What happens if my Wi-Fi drops?
Your cat still gets fed. The feeding schedule is stored on the feeder itself rather than in the cloud, so meals keep dispensing on time. What pauses is the remote side of it: the live camera, notifications and feeding by hand from your phone. All of it returns on its own once the network is back, with nothing to re-pair.
Is it safe to leave for a week?
Yes, and capacity is the easy part: six litres is roughly two to three weeks of food for one cat. Two honest caveats. Run it for a few days while you are at home first, so you know your cat takes to it. And for longer trips still have someone able to look in, because a feeder handles meals and lets you watch, but it cannot refill a water bowl or spot a cat that has stopped eating.
What happens in a power cut?
Four AA batteries take over and scheduled meals keep dispensing. The feeder sleeps between meals on battery, so the camera and app pause until mains power returns, but your cat still gets fed on time. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended, as they can make the feeder report its charge level inaccurately.
What Wi-Fi does it need?
Either band. It connects to 2.4GHz or 5GHz, so it will work with whatever your router broadcasts.
Can it feed two cats?
One feeder portions one bowl reliably. For multi-cat homes we recommend one feeder per cat, because cats who share a bowl rarely share it fairly.
Is there a subscription for the camera?
No. Live video and two-way audio work through the Pet Zero app with no monthly fee. There is no SD card slot and no cloud plan — you watch live and can save a snapshot or clip to your phone.
